This was our second visit to this beautiful B&B in Betws-y-Coed and are very pleased to see that new owners Mike and Rachael are doing a great job. It’s a brilliant place to stay in the Snowdonia National Park with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is lovely and now includes the addition of fruit salad and a lovely... More

Mike and Rachel couldn't be better hosts, welcoming, helpful and knowledgable. Bryn Afon is in a great location, is spotlessly clean and wonderfully cosy. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.

We were running late and I phoned Mike to let him know and he was fine with our new arrival time, greeted us at the door and carried our bags to our room. The room and bathroom were lovely and the views as great as I expected. Rachel was away on our first morning and Mike was helped by his... More

From the moment we arrived it felt like home from home. This was our first experience of a guest house and we shall definitely repeat it. Mike and Rachael were excellent hosts making us feel very welcome. Location is outstanding and we chose Room 6, the mini suite, at the top of the house which had fabulous views of the... More

We stayed with Mike and Rachael over the Easter weekend and cannot say enough good things about their hospitality. Where to start...they went out of thir way to convert the only remaining twin room into a double for us and asked about dietry requirements before we arrived which was very refreshing as I am coeliac. When we arrived we were... More

We really enjoyed our stay, so much so that we didn't want to leave. The room had an amazing view, and was very clean and comfortable. The hosts got to know you and to personalize your experience by giving you advice on where to eat and what to see and do once they had found out your interests. On the... More

Like staying with old friends: Julie and Phil were amazing hosts. They made a short break in Snowdonia absolutely perfect, with excellent advice on sights, activities and restaurants. A beautiful B&B with A truly homely feel. We are already planning our next stay!
