They offer a really good value dinner and stay package. My room was ok and clean, had the smallest bathroom I have ever seen, but everything you needed was there. Staff were very helpful and freindly. Excellent views for dinner and the food was not bad either!

Use The Legacy regularly for business as my company runs Three Peak Challenge events..we were all late back to the hotel again (as always) and were given Chips and pasta by the staff despite the late hour... The hotel is quaint, old fashioned and HUGE!...they don't build them like this anymore! Highly recommended!

I was going to stop here 2 years ago but after viewing the room walked out. This time after a weeks walking i found the rooms had been refurbished to a good standard and the food at night was also good.This is a big old hotel and its good to see the owners improving it, keep up the good work.

Stayed here for a hill walking weekend with a large group ,it served its purpose for location & accommodation, food just about acceptable Would stay again with a group for hill walking but not on a family trip.

Location is good being near all the main amenities, especially being so close to the Snowdon railway. Hotel is an imposing building with nice garden however it's pretty tired which you could accept if kept clean but unfortunately it was quite dirty. Stopped here on 2nd may 2012. Cost £38 for a double room with full English and continental breakfast. Room was very clean and spacious. Water was lovely and hot.
