Yet to find anywhere as good in Cardiff. Pub is cosy and friendly. Walker friendly Food is delicious and plentiful (which as a walker I like a good plateful, with extra veg if wanted) Roast beef is £12, but is cooked to ones liking, always had it rare and melt I'm the mouth. Really fabulous stay in welcoming,comfortable ,warm room with delicious food and excellent selection of real ales and wines. Four of us had Sunday lunch at this rustic pub over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice selection of meats served with fresh vegetables and all the trimmings. Good range of starters & desserts available too, together with chef's specials. All in all a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
