No complaints whatsoever. Late arrival in Swansea by train - hotel is 75 yards from station exit, so no taxi costs. Not situated in most interesting/desirable area of Swansea (ie. some distance from docklands developments) - but restaurants, etc within walking distance. Ticks all the boxes so long as you're not expecting The Ritz...

Although being in a poor part of town my stay at the Grand Hotel was very good. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast menu was varied. Good value for money.

The rate was cheap the car park aws only across the road and easily located as so close to the sign posted train station; easy walk to local pubs. Clean rooms, compact.
