Splendid owner who treated us like kings. The breakfast was lovely and punctuated by insightful stories of the city and all things around Belfast. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the place is charming.

We have just returned from Sleepy Cedars, and from the start to the finish Aoife's hospitality was first class. Her homemade breakfasts were superb. The rooms were very clean and cosy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We arrived in Belfast during a very gray and rainy October afternoon. Sleepy Cedars felt just like visiting an aunt after a long, exhausting trip. The rooms are very cozy, with a great attention to details. Aoife's hospitality is first class - she made sure we had tea and everything we needed.
Don't miss the famous home made breakfast. I...

Sleepy Cedars is a lovely Victorian/Georgian/Edwardian (I'm not that sure) house in a nice a quiet area of Belfast only a few minutes away from the city centre (by bus or car). It's very nicely furnished, especially the ensuite bedroom, as well as the dining-room and sitting room. The library is fantastic and there is a tuned piano!!! Aoife, our...

We stayed at Sleepy Cedars a few weeks before Christmas. The B&B is a house in a residential street,. We were pleased with how quiet the location was, and there was room for parking outside. Upon our arrival, Aoife gave us a pot of tea and some homemade flapjack (which was yummy!). We found her to be helpful and accommodating...

We spent unfortunately only 2 days here, during our trip to North Ireland. We arrived there late in the evening, Aoife (the host) wasn't there (although she had waited for us) but she gave us a warm and original written welcome anyway!! ;)
We booked the en-suite room that was very nice, comfortable and spacious, with big windows overlooking the...

In general it's a nice B&B. The only problem we had is that we thought it was a 4-star hotel with our private bathroom in our room, and, we had a big suitcase.
There is no lift so we had to carry our heavy big suitcase (2 people's stuff in one suitcase) up by ourself, by the narrow stairs. our...

Thank you for your response and thank you for your kind comments regarding our breakfast which is all homemade and goes down a treat with all our guests.
You are correct, we are not a hotel but a small homely B&B in Belfast. Neither do we, Sleepy Cedars, publicise ourselves as one, therefore I can imagine your shock and feelings...

We stayed at Sleepy Cedars for two nights during our Vacation in Ireland. We were very pleased with the service and location which is close to a bus stop offering quick service to the city center. The continental breakfast was great with homemade bread and pastry which gave us a good start exploring Belfast. Buy the 24 hour bus pass...
