I came here in may 2013 with my dad. The room we had, had a double bed and single bunk bed. It also had a cupboard which isn't lockable and a sink. The floors were vacuumed but old and stained. The whole place really could so with a paint job. Also the walls care paper think so you can hear... More

We stayed in here in May for 3 nights. We couldn't afford a hotel and this seemed like a cheap option. We arrived and instead of staying in the hostel bit because of the amount of people put up, they thought we would rather stay in the quiet old Georgian House part. Which was about half a mile away. The... More

You get what you pay for - decent beds and rooms, sparse showers (seemed to be cold only). No heating, noisy. Insufficient kitchen facilities for the size. Location is excellent though, very close to the centre of town and the lively Cathedral Quarter nightlife. The pub on the corner is great for a pint and traditional Irish music with friendly... More

We stayed here on Saturday 4th May 2013 in order to watch Adam Ant play at the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. I have to say reading the reviews left me feeling worried as to what we had put ourselves in for. Upon arrival we were met by a very helpful and friendly lady. There was alot of people staying here... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. We were put in a room directly above reception area. Everytime someone wanted in through the night they needed to ring a door bell which woke us up all the time. The walls in the room were paper thin and we were constantly kept awake from people talking in there rooms or in the... More

A good location close to town and a cheap bed- that's about all I can recommend. It was good for a cheap bed but it was a very cold and dim place. There were not enough showers, and the ones that worked were cold. The kitchen area and eating area were very dark and cold - but ok facilities. The... More

Cool as in cold , not trendy. Was -4 degrees outside and barely above zero degrees in the room. Very central location though , just off the main shopping street. Value for money , especially if you stay in the seasons where you do not need heating. Non Antipodean staff friendly enough. Wifi in the lobby was hit and miss.

The staff are very friendly but hostel itself is awful! The showers are FREEZING cold and bacteria ridden, the beds are very uncomfortable with yellowing comforters, the hallways smell terrible and the walls are paper thin from every angle. All night I heard people shouting and stomping around and at 8am for about an hour a baby was crying from... More

Several friends and I found ourselves homeless in Belfast on a Friday night with about 4 inches of snow blanketing the city. The Linen hostel had bunks available and a very reasonable price, they did what they could to put us all in the same room, and they even let us know that the other half of our group was... More

For our Belfast trip, we choose here to stay. We didn't know anything about here, but I didn't expect it to be so good. We booked private double room. When we enter the room, everything (bed sheets, etc.) was clean, heater was on. Receptionist were very friendly. The only thing, I can complain is thinness of the wall. Our neighbors... More
