We stayed with Geraldine and her sister for two days in June. It is a beautiful home. They were nice sized rooms and serve good breakfasts! Rooms were quiet in the evening and we all slept well. The ladies were so helpful giving us information on the buses and nearby restaurants. We spent one evening in the living area talking... More

We received a warm welcome and orientation from Geraldine upon our arrival. The house is cozy, the rooms are simple, yet adequate, there is a comfortable sitting room with lots of literature about Belfast, and the breakfasts don't disappoint (try the kippers and eggs!). The house is located by the bus stop, with quick and easy access to Belfast city... More

Our stay at Malone guesthouse started well as our flight landed very early and our hosts agreed to serve us breakfast along with other family members who had arrived the day before. Also in its favour, the location of the guesthouse suited us very well. However, as has been commented by other reviewers, the bed was very uncomfortable. I am... More

I travelled with a couple of friends for just a weekend getaway. I am so very pleased that I found the Malone Guest House - it made my trip all the better - and probably convinced me to go back again sooner. It was excellent value and we had a great room for a great price. It was also really... More

Excellent 2 night stay Geraldine & Byron couldn't have done more to make us welcome including lots of information of things to do in Belfast. Excellent large room which was spotless and quiet. Geraldine & Byron were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and to continue with positive comments, the breakfasts were excellent. However, we were very dissappointed with our beds!! We were in the big bedroom situated above the front sitting room and the two single beds should be replaced...springs sticking through!! Perhaps we should have complained but we don't like... More

We spent three nights at the Malone Guesthouse and found the furnishings and decor to be comfortable and clean, but not stylish. Breakfast was good, service was friendly, and the rate very reasonable. Although the house is located on a busy street, our room was quiet even with the window open. The Malone Guesthouse is located in a very nice... More

This guesthouse is conveniently situated but it's also quiet. Buses run past the door and if they aren't running (e.g. bank holiday) it's not far to walk to a slightly busier street where they do run. A less lazy person than me could probably walk into the city centre in about 25 minutes. I was given the so-called small single... More

We spent a long weekend in Belfast and decided to stay here after reading some of the reviews. Booking was made via email and confirmed over the telephone. We were placed on the first floor in a room over the proprietor's living quarters. This is a no frills establishment which offers relatively good value for money. It is located within... More
