Despite a few quirks, the stay was good value. Very congenial host. Great views from the rooms at the rear of the house. However, this view of the city is made great by the fact that there is a steep hill between Marlborough Street and the city centre. Either be prepared for an uphill climb to get there, or else... We stayed in the family room, which was a little bit tight for 3 of us, but this our only tiny complaint. The room and shower were clean and warm, beds comfortable. We enjoyed chatting with the hosts, good breakfast, nice view.
