“Friendly and comfortable”

I have to visit my home town of Aberdeen regularly to see my elderly Mum who is now in a care home there. Lovely house in a good location. Friendly, warm welcome let down by very dated rooms. No privacy as walls are paper thin & you're able to clearly hear what's going on in adjoining rooms!

As a recent widow, my first stay in a guest house alone made me anxious but the welcome I received on arrival and the friendliness of the other guests made it a very pleasant experience.
