My 4 night business trip was a pleasure at The Carlton Hotel. The room (#3) was large & spacious with a homely feel. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. The food was fantastic, the restaurant was always busy & it was very reasonably priced. I would definitely use The Carlton again.

Enjoyedf lovely high tea on Sunday evening...... Usual high standard of food, good selection, reasonable price and welcoming staff- what more could one ask for....... thats the place to eat in Montrose whether it be Lunch Supper or High Tea....... all great value....

Stayed at the Carlton Hotel in August 2012 and had a great time food was delicious always piping hot and plenty of it .Graham and Natelie the owners were very helpful and freindly will be going back again and its really central a short walk to shops
