Off the beaten track---the way we like it. First class room and views, excellent breakfast, gracious hosts. We will return someday.

When I read the directions to Blarcreen House (6 mi. down a single track road), I was a little hesitant about making a reservation but I'm glad I did. We prefer to be away from the crowds and this certainly fit the bill. The road was good, there were plenty of passing places, and the views along the road were...

We've just been back to Blarcreen House and Sian and Garry are really getting into their stride. The rooms are as luxurious as ever. The breakfasts are superb and prepared exactly how you like, whatever you like. There's no B and B with better views around Oban (this is actually better than hotel standard and worth the little extra cost...

This was by far the most lovely place we stayed on our nine day tour around Scotland. The location, house and bedrooms are just beautiful and it is an easy, scenic drive from Oban. When we arrived the fire was lit and we were able to relax with tea and coffee and wonderful home-made brownies. Breakfast was excellent. I would...

Have stayed at various places around Oban. Blarcreen House may be a shade more expensive but it brings a much better experience. The rooms are fantastic, the setting superb, and Garry the Kitchen could be on Masterchef with his breakfasts. He and Sian the Hostess are both new at Blarcreen but the experience is as good as it has ever...

Good luck to Sian...

My family stayed at Blarcreen during the last stages of a unforgettable holiday in Scotland. We had stayed at many high end B & B's across the country but this was the best by far. Sian and Garry are new to the business, but their warmth and generosity was very welcoming. The views, the food and the decor was first...

Myself and my parents stayed on the nights of 15th & 16th September and received a very warm welcome with tea & cake after our long drive from Aviemore. It was my first visit to Scotland and the final leg of a week's touring. I'm so glad Blarcreen House was the last leg of the holiday as any other guest...
