Spent one night at the Old Bank B&B whilst cycling the Tweed Cycleway. Very happy with the excellent facilities and efficient service. (Very cycle friendly!) The entire house is beautifully decorated with a colourful selection of artworks. The breakfast room (the old manager's office) is particularly interesting. Owner Dave is funny and informative. Will definitely return.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst walking part of The St Cuthbert's Way. Lovely breakfast, great host, rooms clean, fresh and welcoming.Good value for money, Ideal central location in the heart of lovely Melrose, would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Stayed here during a bike trip over the May bank holiday. Really great place, very unique, and a great host. Bedrooms are fantastic with really good sized bathrooms.

I echo all that's been said. The b&b was just superb. Right in the middle of town - just walked across the road to get something to eat. The welcome was warm. The bed was very comfy, and the shower was hot. What more could you ask for.

Much later than planned - we wanted to say what a very pleasant and relaxing time we had in Melrose at the Old Bank House. David was a most genial and entertaining host. David is very responsive to emails - which we appreciate. Location is right between the two main streets in Melrose. Five minute walk to abbey. Easy parking - though maybe not in high season. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast selection was done the night before and includes fish.

We stayed at Old Bank House just one night but it was enough to be delighted by this great place. The rooms and the whole house are very nicely decorated, and you can feel that they've paid close attention to each detail.
