This grand dame of the Scottish hydro tradition has been rescued by the McMillan family. Decor is faded but the water is plentiful and hot the beds comfortable and clean. Half board meals are. If you have kids I would highly recommend it, they cater for every age. The facilities were clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you, the food was great plenty of variety, the service was excellent, the rooms were a good size and clean, our family had a brilliant weekend, going home with plenty of good memories:-)
