A small comfortable hotel. We spent a relaxing two days here. The staff were very friendly. The food was lovely. The access to the Peebles Hydro Spa was a bonus. I have always found a McMillan Hotel is good value.

This hotel changed from the first floor to the second once you took the lift to the first floor you had to get out and walk. The quality and feel of the second floor decor and staircase changed to very basic as was the bedroom and the bathroom, very basic very small did not have a fresh clean feel. Hope... More

We had a superior room (72) with a sitting area overlooking the hills. It was tastefully furnished, warm and very clean. Our second visit here and with a 5 year break in between, but it was still a really nice place to spend some time. Spacious, comfortable, great service and good food. We'll be back and hopefully a little quicker!

Had a DBB weekend here, paid extra for garden room and got Rm 73, perfectly OK for the 2 of us, very quiet. Booked 2 nights here for my birthday weekend 3-5 February on a DBB deal. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, especially when we asked to be moved from the first room allocated to us as it was small and rather grim. We stayed 1 night in this hotel and will never be back. The room was smelly, mouldy and full of cobwebs. It was also a bit tatty and in need of modernising. Stayed at Park as unable to get into Hydro. I was very pleased with the facilities of this hotel and especially the restaurant. Food is execellent and i would certainly recommend this hotel.
