I booked one night with a little trepidation, how wrong was I. Now under new and youthful management this place was a find. Bedrooms newly decorated, confortable bed and quiet. As our daughter lives just down the road we will definateley be staying again. It was a great experience to find a hotel with values in comfort and service.

This is a lovely victorian house, the room I stayed in was pretty and looked out into the gardens at the front but best of all the staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the food was great, lots of choice on the menu and freshly prepared. will certainly be back.

Was an excellent overnight stay. Room was comfortable and the entertainment at the Bar by the host was unforgettable. A highlight of our driving trip aroung Great Britain. Would recommend most highly.

I have stayed here a number of times. The owners are very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are small and this is probably what stops it being rated as a 4* hotel. Food home cooked and good value. A lovely relaxing hotel with excellent service.
