“nice place to be in”

stayed in a hotel up the road from here for a long weekend, due to a wedding at gretna. ended up in here more than the hotel though because of the atmosphere. great friendly service and the food was good too !!!

My wife and I have stayed at this small family run hotel on a number of occasios. Dave and Ange (the owners) are warm and friendly people who always give you a great welcome. The rooms are clean and fresh with comfortable beds. The food is excellent, plentiful and well-priced. We have got to know a number of the locals... More

“A lovely friendly hotel!”

This hotel is great, we had a lovely warm welcome. The rooms are just what you need, comfy beds, very clean with great views. Downstairs there is a great bar and restaurant. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We were staying nearby and called into this hotel for an evening meal. It's only a small place but the on the food front there is a good choice of dishes with a daily special board and also reasonably priced. When the food arrived the portions were big and it was very tasty. The owners were really pleasant and friendly... More

The hotel is a lovely family run establishment and welcomed us with a smile and great food worth every penny ...Thanks angie,dave and everyone else that made our stay so enjoyable . I will be going back soon
