We opted for a simple ceremony and no formal reception so I was not sure that Mabie would accept our somewhat limited request - but they could not have been more helpful and the hotel and grounds were a wonderful venue. stayed for husbands birthday, then attended wonderful wedding in mabie forest. Stayed in suite 12, lovely room perfect views. Dinner good, breakfast allright. Staff helpful finding pin for thistle buttonhole. The gardens are beautiful. Hospitality ok.

We decided to have a wee night of adventure with our 2yr old and 4 year old in the heated pods in winter. The pods were great and warm on a chilly evening. The staff were very nice and welcoming but wanted to warn those on you with small children that we found a meal in the hotel very expensive.... More
