I have just spent a night in this hotel but was treated as though I was an honoured guest. I received a friendly welcome and had a very nice room. The evening meal could not be faulted and the breakfast waexcellent (the kedgeree was the best I have ever tasted!!). I thoroughly recommend this establishment.

This is a beautiful old hotel, well decorated and with modern touches like free wifi. The staff were very pleasant and the food was good. The breakfast menu was particularly imaginative. I too appreciated the offer of help with luggage. This creates a good initial impression

The Annandale Arms has obviously carried out a fair bit of refurbishment with corridors painted brightly and interesting framed photos.
