At the time of writing its 3am in the morning and some of the other guests are still up and talking loudly in the kitchen area directly below my room. I went down at 1.30 to let them know that their voices travel and things whitened down to a background murmer. The hostel warden shouldn't allow this culture of inconsideration... More

Visited this hostel for a weekend recently in January 2013. Pros: Central location, reasonably priced access to kitchen and dinning rooms Cons: Very basic room, unhelpful staff (could not produce an invoice for me had to wait 24 hours!!) Bathroom down corridor was smallish. Overall good for a short stay in a central position in Dundee. Tips: Costa Coffee and... More

I was in private room which is really clean and cumfy. The shared bathroom is also clean and spacy. I was the only one to use that bathroom. There were TV room, dining room and kitchen for you to cook and enjoy your meal. The game room also provide the pool table, Play Station, guitars, and free wifi. Location is... More

An unplanned overnight stay in Dundee and the Tourist office's recommendation was this hostel. And it was just perfect. It sits in the hearth of the City Centre in an amazing old building (actually I think 2 interconnected buildings). It has an excellent selection of single/double/dorm/en suite/etc rooms, enough of common areas (reading, game and TV room, internet, kitchens/dining rooms).... More

I have stayed in a few hostels before but this one surpasses them all. Firstly, you could not get a more central location if you tried. It is right in the middle of the high street so everything is on your doorstep. The building is very old but has been restored beautifully, with lots of information on the walls about... More

The kitchen was big and well equipped, the bathrooms clean. The staff at the reception was always frieendly and helpful. There was a TV- and... More

The buildings in which this hostel is located have been painstakingly restored resulting in modern facilities but retaining all of the character of the original buildings. Dotted around the interior are information boards telling the story of the building's past and its restoration which add to the charm of the place. You could spend hours just exploring this place. Communal... More
