. . . And excellent duck! Our second stay, service and food better than before. Helpful service, but one receptionist needs to manage her tone of voice and learn to smile.

Spent a one night saty on a business trip. Hotel as close as you can get to the airport, friendly and helpful staff, food was rather good, room was showing some signs age, but was very clean. I would recommend this to friends and family
visited for the past week. very good. reception, upgrade room, friendly,attentive,efficient staff. particular praise for the outstanding food. exceptional value for money in the restuarant for food of this quality. why is this chef not on tv? forget any negative comments,hotels like this do still exist,thank heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't realise hotels like this still existed - it is straight out of the 1980s, except wifi is available. The residential portion of the hotel is like a rabbit warren - narrow corridors, fire doors and stairs. One is greeted upon entering the room with the aroma of sickly air-freshener. The room itself is devoid of comfort. The bathroom...

Attended a function at this hotel and the service was outstanding. Never waiting to be served, waiting staff all very professional, bar staff efficient and the view is stunning from the function room we were in. The grounds are beautifully presented and the reception area also very nice.
We stayed here for 2 nights with two small children. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The only (minor) downside was that the room the allocated was not really large enough for the two extra beds for the kids. It was a very very tight squeeze.
We stayed here between Christmas and New Year so the hotel was quiet but we were made very welcome. We hadn't booked and just turned up. We got the same rate we had been quoted by a Premier Inn down the road and this place was far superior.
Dinner was fantastic (seafood platter,so fresh). The room was clean, comfortable and...

Four of us booked for lunch in November and things got off to a bad start when it became obvious that another party had been seated where they had intended to seat us. In all it took 3 members of staff to;
a/ confirm that they had a record of our booking,
b/ decide where they were now going to...

After an eight hour drive, we were looking forward to a good night's sleep, only to be disappointed. The room was allocated above the boiler room which made the room very hot. The central heating system made gurgling noises all night and there seemed to be air in the pipes which made the radiators noisy. We tried opening the windows...

I recently stayed here for 10 nights so got to know the hotel quite well :-) It's a little bit dated now but that's not such a bad thing - gives it some character. Everywhere I went was very clean and well presented. All the staff I interacted with were personable and helpful - and a special mention here for...
