Stayed in a family room (410) in this travelodge and were surprised to find that it was like a suite of rooms. All of it was extemely clean and, as it was a room on the back, it was also very quiet. We walked in to a room that contained the table, chair and sofa bed. It also had a... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel for one night to attend a family funeral. We are both native Dundonians but have been away from the city for over 25 years so know the area well. We paid £23.99 for the room so weren't expecting the Ritz, however, the room, although basic, was comfortable and functional. Well worth... More

We recently stayed here for one night, and enjoyed the experience. The hotel is not too far from town - a thirty minute walk down the Hilltown to the town centre and also on a direct and regular bus route. We booked a family room, and were extremely impressed by the cleanliness and the size. The room had a "lounge"... More

We got this room for 2 nights and were happy with it for the money paid. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Reception informative and friendly. No omplaints and would stay there again for similar tariff.

I planned a quick weekend in Dundee to see family and surprise the better half, thought I was getting a real bargain at £45 per night but how wrong I was, talk about cheap and tacky was more like a workmans doss house than a hotel, rooms bland looks and feels like prison cells (not that Ive ever been in... My husband and I spent 4 smashing days at this Travelodge. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the extra bonus that this one also had a restaurant and a bar - with Free Wi-Fi! The room was perfectly adequate for what we needed; comfy bed w/clean linen, towels changed every day, clean toilet/shower, flat screen TV and with plenty of... More

The mattress was so soft we ended up unable to sleep as we kept rolliing together and you couldn't keep to your own side of the bed. The shower and toilet facilities were so bijou you couldn't really turn round. There was nowhere to put your shampoo or soap in the shower. No bedside table to put a drink on... More

I had the misfortune of being stuck in the lift. The staff were at best incompetent, and did not have a lift door release key on the premises. They stated that this was for 'health and safety' grounds. Thankfully no one in the lift was ill. At my insistence they called the fire brigade, and after an hour, between the... More

i stay here regularly. Helpful and friendly staff and not understaffed like some travelodges. Food served is surprisingly good. I've never had a problem with noisy guests, although I stay during week... Not sure how the weekends are. Town centre is 5 mins by car or a 20 min walk. Dundee Law (hill) is nearby.... A great place for jogging... More
