Only spent approx 10 mins that was enough. Booked the room 6 months prior to visit so no reason why we should have been given a room in a dingy basement. Absolutely disgusting toilet ,shower, basin in fact everything. The only thing we used was the telephone to find and book into another hotel and we were gone.

As i say in title it was a great mini holiday in Edimburgh.With some little problems at arrival at York Place Hotel(the manager resolved them quikly),we find a very good located hotel,good priced and very friendly. I'LL BE BACK

Great location, excellent value for money. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Queen size bed with a separate single and still loads of space.
