We stayed here for two nights in May. The location is very good, close to the Royal Mile and withing walking distance to the Edinburgh Castle. Our room was small but attractive with modern furnishings. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were over-priced. I would stay here again.

The hotel is in good location and service is generally satisfactory. I particularly like the room - of good space. While I don't think it is anywhere closer to five stars, it remains a good choice for a budget business trip.
