We had a 3 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. The efficient double glazing blocked all sounds from Waterloo Place and the apartment was amazingly quiet. I was uncertain between 3 and 4 stars.The hotel has spacious, nice clean rooms with kitchenette, excellent central location, price is OK. Room service not extraordinary . Many rooms have a view over the fascinating Old Calton Cemetery (David Hume tomb) that one may like it or not....Car parking is not very comfortable.

Only stayed for one night, wished it was longer. Luxury, clean, comfortable. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on arrival to a 2 bedroom apartment. Roof terrace has stunning views accross Edinburgh castle, city and Calton Hill. Will definitely be my 1st choice for our next trip to Edinburgh.

Along with a group of friends we stayed in the penthouse Suite of the Suites and it was utterly amazing!
