My friend and I really enjoyed staying at this guest house. The room was clean and cosy and the owner very friendly and helpful. Some people here on Tripadvisor have written the breakfast is basic, however we actually found it very refreshing with a healthy breakfast with lots of fruit as well as cereal, toast etc.

Elderfields is conveniently located to the Royal Mile. The prices are very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. a nice B&B very close to the beautiful Holyrood park and 5-10 minutes walk to the start of the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. The room was nice and clean. Nothing special but everything was there, the owner friendly and the price reasonable (64 Pound for 2 people). the breakfast was basic, but good.
