The hotel's a pretty solid bet if you're looking for something by the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Rooms are a tad bit on the small side, but they're neat. Staff were super friendly and very attentive. I'd definitely go back to the Ibis.

Nice room and perfect location in the city centre of Edinburgh. Unfortunately the lift to the rooms had a very nasty smell. No free Internet access! Check-In and Check-Out was very fast and uncomplicated.

With simple, clean rooms and friendly helpful service from the reception staff, this hotel is an ideal central base for exploring the city. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Good accessibility for disabled occupants. Be willing to climb the stairs if staying on third floor! Recommended.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, we were just on the corner of High Street: 0,4 mile walking distance from Edinburgh Castle.

Never stayed in an ibis before and it was perfectly acceptable but nothing more! I was staying for work and so location was key. The room was clean but very basic. The pillow(and there was only one) were very uncomfortable. There were charges for everything - TV and wifi. I'd prefer rooms were £5 more expensive and they were free.... More
