A clean, modern hotel with a spectacular view of the Edinburgh Castle and within walking distance of downtown and the Royal mile. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious and quiet.The staff was gracious and provided excellent service. A lively bar and bar staff contributed to our enjoyable stay. We shall return to the Apex when in Edinburgh again.

The hotel is in a great location to explore Edinburgh, its close to the castle and all the shopping area's and there are loads of good pubs and resturants in the Grassmarket.
