A warm welcome from Scot. The room was spacious, clean and warm. Bathroom was very compact but modern. Breakfast in the lovely, sunny groundfloor room was excellent. Situated about a mile from the town centre - easy walking distance. We thought it was a really lovely place to stay.

We arived early in the afternoon and found all the rooms ready too get in.It was a very warm and friendly welcom by Scot. We are with a group of friends to visit Edinburgh for the weekend. We had only time to stay the one night but found it to be clean, comfortable and very convenient for city buses, made easy to use by all the information provided in our room. Although the bathroom was a little small, the shower worked perfectly. The owners were away but we were made to feef welcome by manager and staff.

Our second stay at Barony House and just as good as the first. Warming welcome from the hosts, really nice rooms and excellent Scottish breakfast with variety of choice. Only 5 minutes on the bus to the centre and highly recommend.

Leo and Susie were the greatest!! So kind and so co-operative. This is the place to stay in Edinburgh. Only about a mile from the Royal mile and with lots of buses outside it was so handy placed. Our room was nice and the breakfast was WOW :) Free internet was a plus :)
