My partner and I stayed here over the Hogmanay weekend and enjoyed a comfortable and pleasant stay. It is quite close to Edinburgh Zoo but It is a quite a distance from the city centre if walking but there are buses that run frequently to the city, the number 26 taking you to Princes street. As we were driving into... More

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Internet did not work properly and our room was dirty and in the attic. Very narrow, curved, steps to access. This was not a handy location for us, but that isn't their fault. Too far from the city, too far from the airport and located on the main thoroughfare, so very busy and... More

I stayed in Corstorphine House over the August Bank Holiday 2011 and enjoyed a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel consists of two large Victorian Gothic town houses and boasts a large number of extremely large family rooms. Corstorphine house is located about 4 miles from the centre of town and as such is ideally located if you are... More

HORRIFIC!!! The brochure states; "Superior Self-Catering at an Affordable Price" Dirty bed with hair still on the pillow Filthy curtains that have NEVER been cleaned. Kitchen was disgusting. Wallpaper and ceiling covering falling off The general state of accommodation made a student house look clean and tidy. I was 'put' in the apartment called Westhaven as the main B&B was... More

My husband and I stayed here on 26th June 2011 for one night. After being away the previous 2 nights in the Highlands staying in a youth hostel I was looking forward to the comforts I am normally afforded in a hotel. Unfortunately this hotel did not provide me with any of those comforts. Upon arrival we had to call... More

A very pleasant and peaceful clean place just between the airport of Edinburgh and town city. Been on a 10 days tour round Scotland and this was the best value for money.

Found and booked through TI. Located on the edge of town on bus line. Breakfasts at the Inn were not appealing, and we encountered BED BUGS in our room. We kept a dead bed bug as evidence, and needed it, to convince the owners that they had a problem. Walking distance to the Corstorphine Pub which was great and had... More

The AA must throw around diamonds quite freely, as this place was certainly NOT up to the standard I expected based on the rating. Our room was up several flights of stairs, the last being quite unsafe. At first glance it looked "OK", except for the shabby duvets and mis-matched furniture. Out of four recessed light fixtures, only one actually... More
