We spent our 30th anniversary in the Alex International & the staff made it so special for us. They upgraded our room to one with a lovely view of the castle & gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne too. We'd highly recommend it to anybody thinking of going on a visit to Edinburgh.

This is real friendly hotel in the perfect location for exploring the Royal Mile. the view from the breakfast room is fantastic. The rooms e well furnished, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The square outside the hotel has a lot of great restaurants to try.

Great hotel, the staff were very helpful. Perfect location, walking distance to the castle, art gallery and shops. The Scottish breakfast was very tasty, tried the bit of haggis for the first-time, when in Rome do as the Romans, would definitely stay again.

We went away for a few days after our wedding. The Apex International is in the perfect location for the castle and Royal Mile. The staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Cant really fault it
