Gillian at 2 Fingal Place was an excellent cook and her home made jam was terrific as were her breakfasts. Her house was very elegant and the living room comfortable with beautiful pictures and luxurious travel books. She was a font of knowledge about the historical Edinburgh and its nearby grand houses and was a very charming host.
