I travel a lot and have to admit that this was very much one of the best places that I have stayed in... including hotels. Lovely, light place, tastefully decorated and friendly people serving good food. Well done Rowena, someone who knows exactly what they are doing in the tourist market.

We stayed at the Sheridan Guest House in January 2012. We were so glad we chose this place. It is a beautiful typical Scottish House, only 5 minute ride with the bus from downtown. Our family party of 5 were delighted with our stay at The Sheridan. From Rowena's warm welcome to the wonderful artwork by Mark Hearld, Emily Sutton and Alex Malcolmson, to the beautiful breakfast and stylish, comfortable rooms - it was perfect.
