5-10 minute walk off South Street. Lovely little house by a stream. You can walk to dinner easily but sleep in blissful peace and quiet. Very comfortable with many thoughtful touches. My daughter and I went to see my son in a show and decided to stay the night. Great place to stay and very central. John and his lovely dog were very welcoming. When we go again to visit my son we will defo stay here again.

Stayed at The Spindle for four nights in August 2012. John Angus is a very amenable host, went out of his way to provide for my dietary issues, and full of advice about restaurants and other facilities in the town and surrounding area. I give him the highest recommendation and would definitely stay there again.

The Spindle is a very cute little B&B just 5 minutes walk from the centre of St Andrews. It has a very pleasant view out from the breakfast room out over a nice garden and a little burn (stream to non-Scots ) where ducks swim.
