Stayed one night in this hotel, on arrival thought oh no, but once inside could not have been better. The staff are so welcoming, helpful and pleasant, No problems at all. Would definately stay there again.

The is only a few words to describe this place, old and tired. Staff were very friendly and thats the best bit. Hotel reminded me of an old peoples home. Beds were too small, I'm only 5'5 and my feet were out the end of the bed. And the noise, trains every 15 minutes between 6.30am and 11pm, only 30ft... More

Small point Lunchtime. Place quiet, Ordered a can of Irn-Bru and a can of Diet Coke at bar. £3.10 if you please? What a mark-up! Needless to say, I wasn't in a hurry to spend any more money and get a further shock.

Main course - the usual turkey , roast potatoes , carrots , sprouts , parsnips , stuffing, nothing exciting .Other people had roast beef and salmon - both nice.Christmas pudding - tiny portion but tasty. Santa gave the children lovely gifts. While queuing to see Santa... More

Stayed one night with my friend and it was perfectly acceptable. Yes the walls are thin and you hear literally everything but the room was clean, comfortable and perfectly acceptable. The breakfast was lovely and we couldnt fault the service.

The positives first...well the food is good, and staff are friendly, however the walls are paper thin,I could hear the guy next door to me snoring and farting. To make matters worse one side there is a main road, and the other side backs on to a railway line!!

This hotel is very cheap for where it is and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too. However, there was a lot of noise from the trains which seem to go very close to the back of the hotel. Also my room was really cold - I didn't really ever get warm enough. I mentioned... More

If you are looking for 5 star luxury, a romantic weekend or something out of this world, then look else where. However if you need a bed for the night, a base for a night or a few days then look no further. Good location with a large car park. Hotel is probably in need of updating but the staff... More

Nice place to have a quick lunch and a drink. It has seats outside so if its a nice day you can sit outside.Have not stayed here but from the outside the rooms look like portacabins -could do with a face lift
