My husband and I stayed for one night only at this hotel. I wish it had been longer. From reception to restaurant the staff were fantastic and so attentive. The food in the restaurant both for the evening meal and for breakfast was really tasty. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

First time i stayed at the Thistle and the room was fine. Just fine. Bathroom was clean, bed was clean and comfortable. Carpet had sticky patches and the fittings in both room and bathroom had seen better days. Just fine.

Be sure to book a Premier room if you want more than one person to be able to fit in the beds. I actually called reception to check they had given me a double room as the bed was so small.
