For those who read my other contributions you know I try my best to find positives as well as the negatives in any hotel stay. Sadly with respect to this hotel I can only find negatives.  Travelodge are know for their 'good value' (read cheapish) accommodation which is of a reasonable standard. Rooms with three tiny pillows, soft lifeless mattresses,... More

Stayed 2 nights, must admit good price, but its true that you get what you pay for!! My friend and I had a family room. It was tiny, old fashioned, uninteresting, undecorated, with absolutely no finishing touches. The walls were artexed, the beds just had plain white covers on and were uncomfortable. The toilet/bathroom was so tiny and the whole... More

I stay regularly at Travelodges so I never expect too much of them but this is definitely one of the worse. Although it is fairly central it is in a rather grubby backstreet (made even grubbier by people being sick and throwing cigarettes down right outside the front door). On arriving I was told my booking wasn't in my name,... More

We stayed at this hotel on 6th May 2012 for 1 night. We were almost tempted to go home. The bathroom was absolutely stinking of mould. It was awful. I was dreading going in. As for the bed it sank in the middle and therefore was not good for sleeping. Was awful. We only paid £29 for 1 night but... More

This is a standardTravelodge located in a good position in the center of Glasgow. There are many restaurants and a theatre close by and it is a good place for a one night stay. There is very good car parking at Cambridge car park and it costs only £1.20 for overnight parking. Ask the staff to validate your car park... More

Recently stayed in this hotel. I wasn't expecting a five star hotel but a bit better especially as travelodge was really good. Reception staff are really friendly and very helpful as my partner and I had to check in at different times and they were very helpful with this. The room was very basic shocked to find only two pillows... More

Location is great - very close to the city centre, loads nearby. The room we were in was in dire need of upgrading but it was clean. We checked in via the automated system and only stayed one night so never actually spoke to any staff so I don't have any comment there. Paid £49 odd pounds which probably is... More

Travelodge as you know does as it says on the tin. I had booked a room on line for £19 a night as a saver rate just to do a city break and catch a concert. I found the staff very pleasant and friendly. I didn't eat or drink in the hotel. The bar area looked a bit scruffy and... More

This has got to be the worse travelodge I have ever stayed in, firstly the staff were so unfriendly, room was tired and worn like me when I left, there is better value in the city, like the new easy hotel right next door.

The hotel is well located, but in need of renovation. Room was clean enough, but very small for a double. Bathroom looked like a tacked on afterthought, let down by very low ceiling which meant I hit the roof if I lifted my arms above my head when showering. Bedroom area furniture old and a bit worn, but bed itself... More
