Booked with an itison voucher, worst deal i have ever bought! Upon viewing the offer and checking out the hotel website I thought we were in for a treat. (Pity i hadn't read the bad reviews until after i had purchased the deal). After checking in and shown to our room our 1st impression was very nice, the room that... More

Stay at Saint Jude's for a weekend with my husband. The young girl on reception was very helpful. After hours of shopping and sore feet. Went down to the bar and never left. Cocktails £3, food great and a young girl singing, we had a great night. I found the staff very helpful. Will be back. Great location

I stayed here recently as part of a group celebrating a friends 30th birthday. On the surface, the hotel looks very nice, we were greeted by a member of staff, and told that our rooms were not ready. We were not offered help with our luggage. There were 3 of us in a room, and the 3rd bed was a... More

When I think of a 'boutique hotel', I think of something sophisticated, something luxurious, something special. Unfortunately, Saint Judes was something tatty, something drab and something very disappointing. My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel, having picked up a deal through itison.co.uk. We are regulars in the bar and thought that the hotel would carry the same degree of... More

Booked an overnight stay through an Itison deal which was to include a minibar with £50 of goodies. We arrived to find an empty reception and had to go hunting to find someone having waited 10mins. We were shown to our room and left without being told about breakfast or to enjoy our stay. Like other reviews, the room was... More

I think other reviewers have summed this place up. The reception staff that we met were lovely, but the reception closes at 5 and after that you're on your own! We did manage to speak with another member of staff about some room issues and were assured they would be fixed but we never saw her again (and so there... More

Although there was nothing drastically wrong with this hotel, there are slight issues which i feel brings it down. I've travelled all over, staying in budget hotels and youth hostels, so i'm used to not staying in luxury. But when you describe something as being a 'boutique hotel', i do not expect to have a shower that doesn't work, carpets... More

the room (one) was great, loved the styling, slightly too hot but this was probibly because of the un seasonal sunshine streaming in through the windows! staff were helpfull and friendly, the food was good too. will definately stay again.

At one time this 'boutique' hotel must have been in its prime but those days are gone. The room we stayed in was certainly past its best; old leaflets for a local film theatre in the drawer, no coffee, and I got the impression the room had not been properly cleaned before we checked in. Having said that, the staff... More
