We travelled here from the West Midlands for a five night Easter break. The journey had been horrendous, three hours to travel a distance that should have taken under an hour... As a result we arrived very late, at around ten fifteen pm. Charles couldn't have been more understanding - welcoming us within minutes of ringing the intercom, then he... More

Glendoe is a luxurious, spacious, well-equipped apartment. The family played safely within the well kept grounds, enjoyed comprehensive sports and leisure facilities and what a fantastic location, why would you go anywhere else? ,

We stayed here for the Easter break. The first couple of days I was there with my wife before our kids and Gran joined us for the weekend. The apartment (Abbots Rest ) was very well equipped and very spacious. We had wonderful views from the kitchen/dining/sitting room area over the south shore of Loch Ness. The grounds and interior... Stayed in one of the courtyard cottages with the family over Easter and loved it. The Abbey itself is a lovely building, the modern cottages are well-appointed with all the comforts of home, including satellite telly and wi-fi. The swimming pool is small but perfectly formed and the kids had a blast splashing about. Also loved the playpark and the... More

Something feels wrong here. The wrongest thing of all was the amount of money I spent to stay in one of the most luxurious and beautiful properties I have ever stayed in. For our party of 5, it was £30 per head per night - pay a visit and you'll realise how crazy this is. The property is awesome, you... More

Myself and 3 friends stayed in the abbey church for 4 nights. We found it beautifully clean with every thing you would need. A welcome bottle of wine and short bread was a nice touch too. The abbey and the grounds were well maintained with stunning views of Loch Ness. We could not find fault and hope to return again... More

My wife and I planned a holiday to the Highlands with our daughter. We looked for a condo near Inverness and uncovered these 'self-catering apartments' (as they refer to them in GB). What a find. The complex lies on the south shore of Loch Ness an easy drive (if one could ever describe driving on the Highlands narrow roads on... More

Highly recommend they Abbey, we stayed in the Captain's Apartment which was HUGE with high ceilings and immaculate. Wonderful facilities and good location for all things outdoors...Geln Affric was a real highlight but there is so much to do for one week, just wasn't enough. Lovely pool too. Highly recommended. Only shame is no dogs allowed so we had to... More

Just returned , we stayed in the talisker and the glenlivet in the old school as there were 8 of us and a baby, we had a great time and were very pleased with all facilities at the highlands club only dissapointment was that we were not advised the pool would not be in use for the whole of our... We stayed in the Abbey Church - the apartment was huge, very modern furnishings and right next to the pool. The Abbey complex is amazing, walking through the cloisters is something else. Certainly has the wow factor. Good base for walking and also visiting places - Nevis range Gondolas worth a visit. The village has everything you need - we... More
