Its a bit jaded in parts (leaky roof at the back) but the drying room, kitchen, and lounge are excellent. Dorm OK but bunks were squeaky - this is annoying and should be looked at. Well located and definitely superior to the Old Bridge Inn bunkhouse

Noisy hallway meant I heard pounding footsteps and slamming doors all through the night. Kitchen incoveniently closed from 10 am to 2 pm. Run-down and grubby overall.

Aviemore Hostel is top notch in terms of cleanliness. Staff are welcoming. The bed rooms and the beds are comfortable. Linen is provided. The showers and toilets are provided en-suite. The kitchen is well equiped and clean with sufficient cooking and refrigeration but it is too small to handle the total number of guests resulting in scrum fights when busy.... More
