I had a very bad experience with this b&b - while I would agree with the other reviews, the rooms and facilities are good unfortunately the service is not. I have worked in tourism for many years and have stayed all over the world. But never have I been made to feel so uncomfortable over a miscommunication, and we litteraly... More

We come up to aviemore for a wee girlie weekend and we very much landed lucky because of booking Dunroamin. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable, the breakfast yummy, the location, central but not right in the centre of town which means a lovely quiet sleep. The welcome wa swarm and we really found a home from home. Would highly... More

I stayed here a few weeks back for two nights to catch the last of Scotland's tortuousness skiing season with my two cousins and a friend. We arrived very late on at night, but we were told by the owner it wouldn't be a problem. Once we arrived, we were given a very warm welcome and shown to our comfortable,... More

Dunroamin is an extremely professionally run, warm and welcoming place to stay. I felt that nothing was too much trouble for Lorraine and Jim who made me feel more than comfortable as a solo traveller. I was also given a competitive, single person's rate (in a good sized, beautifully furnished double room along with a modern, fitted en suite) and... More

Beautifully furnished and very clean, as well as being very welcoming and friendly. Cannot fault the breakfast, a tasty special was put on every day (Smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, haddock and cheese omelette) as well as the normal Scottish Breakfast. I would defiantly stay again.

Over Christmas week, we were lucky enough to stay in the new Dunroamin guest flat. We decided to go for a self catering holiday as we like to fend for ourselves a little. The Dunroamin guest flat has the best of both worlds. We had the freedom to come and go as we pleased in our own flat while still... More

We stayed here for only one night whilst on a driving tour of Scotland and really appreciated the effort that has gone in to making Dunroamin such a nice place to stay. Lorraine and Jim were very welcoming. We had a family room which consisted of a double bed and two singles, plus we had a travel cot in there... More

Prior to our visit we had went on to Dunroamin's own website that offered 360% views of the rooms so had a good idea of the facilities supplied & layout of the family room. Due to the pictures perspective I was unsure how a third single bed would be incorporated as only the double & two of the singles were... More

On arrival, we saw a note requesting us to remove our boots - so we knew the B&B was going to be clean. Actually it was spotless and the en-suite of our very large room was immaculate. As we'd travelled a very long time we were grateful for such a comfortable bed. The following morning we enjoyed a good breakfast... More

I recently stayed with two friends in the family room in Dunroamin for a ski-ing/snowboarding trip between Christmas and New Year. We arrived early and although we were aware we were far too early to check, out of courtesy thought we would alert the Owner to our presence. We were rudely told the rooms weren't ready and to basically go... More

You arrived in the morning 9.20am, I explained the room had just been vacated and that it would be ready within an hour, but suggested that if you were going up the hill that perhaps you had better go straight away as it was very busy and by leaving it to later you risked being turned away. I offered to... More
