We had the good fortune to be spolit here for 5 lovely nights in May 2102. Sheligh leaves no stone un-turned in order to completely make you feel at home but does it in a way that is almost invisible- everything is just tremendous, the perfect host! There are just so many little extras included in your stay that I... More

A wonderful guest house, located just outside Aviemore on the road to Coylumbridge and Loch Morlich. Very high quality decor, good size rooms, great breakfasts and super fiendly service. I spend half my working life travelling internationaly and staying in some very nice hotels but I would pick the Old Ministers House over most of these anytime. Shelia (sorry not... More

Marvellous welcome with collection service at the train station. Delightful bubble bath and sherry from the pretty little decanter in the bedroom. Excellent evening meal and delicious quality wine for a most reasonable price. Exceedingly comfortable bed and sleep. A scrumptious breakfast followed by wonderful advice and help from the proprietor to plan what was a great day of fishing,... More

I took my daughters for a short break on Boxing Day and our first taste of Scotland and main objective to visit the Reindeer Park nearby. (which was amazing!) Shelagh and her son were so welcoming and could not have done anything more to make us feel welcome and at home. The home cooked meal and breakfast were first class... More

My wife and I stayed at the Old Ministers House for new year and what a great place we have found. From the moment we walked through the doors to begin our stay to the moment we left it was nothing short of Magic. We were greeted with mulled wine, cakes, and short bread to get us started off, the... More

Beautiful - perfect location, immaculate character house in a very convenient and lively location Warm welcome and friendly service. The new owner was very well informed and was able to give me lots of useful tips on where to go in the area. The house is cosy and immaculate, bathrooms well appointed - never short of hot water. The location... More

Stayed at the Old Minister's House for a relaxing break in October. We were not happy with the accommodation. The welcome from the staff was cold and short. Our room was large and seemed well decorated but on closer inspection, we found it was not clean, dust and hair along with some used tissues - not nice! The guest house... More

I have just stayed at The Old Minister's House for the weekend, it was full, the atmosphere was fantastic, the home baking was melt in your mouth and the most delicious breakfast. The new owner was very very knowledgeable of the local area with lots of wonderful suggestions and even made a romantic pick-nick lunch for two! There is no... More

We stayed for 4 nights just after the B&B reopened with a new owner in late September. We had an excellent experience. Breakfast was great and the new owner Sheila was very helpful with suggestions of things to do and making reservations for supper. She went above and beyond to help us out with a couple of things (not related... More
