You can tell when a B&B owner likes to delight their guests. These owners fall into that category. From the clean and comfortable rooms to the tasty food to even giving my wife and I a ride to the train station, these folks obviously love what they do. We've stayed in eleven guest houses in Scotland on this trip and... More

Had a one night stay with a group of male friends on a golf tour and refreshingly found all aspects of the stay excellent! Place clean, warm and pleasant with excellent breakfast served by nice people. Would recommend and will stay again next time in Aviemore

We stayed here in January 2013. Weather was too warm so the skiers were not be found and we easily got two rooms for two night out the back next to each other. Overall a great stay, a reasonably short walk to town and some good advice on what to do in the area (Aviemore itself is really just a... More

We stayed for nights in a chalet room behind the guesthouse. It was very spacious, warm, modern and clean with a double and single bed and large bathroom. There is a porch so good for equipment storage. Breakfast was man sized and delicious with a large choice on off. Our friends who came to see us for the day also... More

We happened into this guest house when the neighboring guesthouse had vacancies for "room only" no breakfast, the first place we tried was very rude about not having a twin room or space for us at breakfast, so we tried Ravenscraig right next door and were met with such a warm welcome it was lovely. We stayed in a chalet... More

A very warm welcome from the mother of the owner who was away. Beautifully furnished room (#5), with very nice soft furnishings etc and a comfy bed. Good ensuite shower room too. Breakfast was ample and excellent. Only a 5 minute walk from the High St too.

We've stayed a couple of times at Ravenscraig while visiting family who live in Aviemore and on both occasions we've received a very warm welcome from Jonathan. We've just returned from our second stay for two nights and enjoyed it as much, if not more, than our first! Our first stay was in one of the chalets at the back... More

If this place had a restaurant and bar, it would be a hotel charging twice as much. It's a traditional Scottish house, right on the main street, close to everything one needs. Parking was easy. The staff are fun, helpful and attentive. The downstairs lounge is cosy, with traditional furniture and decorations, and a big log fire. Our twin, ensuite... More
