After walking the Speyside Way we stayed in the chalet rooms. It was large, warm and spotlessly clean. The En suite had a great shower - very important after walking! - Our hosts were fab, I left my car there before travelling to the start of the walk and Jill ran us down to the train station! Breakfast was amazing,... More

Just back from the Ravenscraig after a 3 night break in the chalets, stayed here about 6 times now and as always it was brilliant. Clean, spacious rooms, thick fluffy towels, and breakfasts to die for and cooked to perfection, all washed down with as much tea/coffee you want,Jill & Jonathon are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble for... Could not find a single fault with Ravenscraig. Warm welcome upon arrival, nice clean room and furnished very well. En-suite was spacious and shower was good. Good selection at breakfast and was nice to have the specials in addition to the full scottish. Everything ran smooth and we would certainly stay here again when next visiting the area.

we stayed for two nights in the chalet rooms, they were comfortable, modern and spotless, the breakfast was lovely, the staff friendly and at £60.00 per night for the two of us we found it to be exceptional value for money, thanks jill we will see you in a couple of weeks time.

I stayed for a week as part of group of photographers. The welcome from the staff was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. There was a roaring fire in the lounge every day and the whole house was really warm and cosy despite the freezing temperatures outside. The breakfasts were excellent and I can really recommend the special porridge with... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in one of the chalet style rooms. We were made extremely welcome from the start and felt totally at home. Lovely breakfasts, spotless room and overall great value. Would definitely recommend and will return next time we head to Aviemore.

had a lovely but very brief stay just before Christmas. The rooms were lovely with super comfy beds. And the breakfast was excellent. Having a lazy teenager with us who wouldn't get out of bed was no problem - bacon baps to go were produced! Can't recommend too highly. At £80 a night though it is not cheap.

We initially stayed here for one night with the intention of walking around the local lochs and forests and finding somewhere else further on for the next night but we were so impressed we checked in for another night. Ravenscraig provide clean, spacious and high quality rooms and an excellent breakfast. Very good value. I also found it very welcoming... More

Thank you for your review and I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Ravenscraig. October is a busy time here in Aviemore as it is the school half term holidays - however, despite being busy, we would never charge £130 for a one night stay in a double room - please get in contact with... The wife and I stayed at Ravenscraig for 6 nights between 28th Oct and 3rd Nov 2011. We used it as a base for touring the Highlands and walking in the areas around Aviemore. I have stayed in lots of B&B's and this was without doubt the best. Good food, good rooms, great staff and good value. We paid £60... More
