Friends and I spent our first evening in Inverness at the Chieftan. The food was fabulous and the service was great. To make the evening even better, the locals were very friendly and we had a great time.

Chose to stay over in Inverness prior to a red eye flight the next morning, so did not have food on this occasion. A lovely hotel with the friendliest staff.Having visited last year prior to the refurb,it really has transformed the hotel.Very modern rooms and public areas and the comfiest lounge bar. We recently stayed for one night at this hotel. Unfotunately we were very disapponted. The room and passge way was smelly. No hot water for a shower before going out for the evening, no hot water again at 8.45am the next day.
