We've stayed here several times - being not too far from Inverness airport it makes a good starting and ending point for trips up to the Highlands. The staff have always been unfailingly welcoming and helpful, and it is nice to be remembered (I think the fact that we always turn up with a border collie probably helps there!). The... More

A real shame. Really looking forward to a few days in Inverness however the hotel was very poor. Really tired and very expensive. The entrance sign summed up the hotel, very shabby. Staff tried hard but with regret this place is no better than 3 star with 5 star prices. Supper food was good however breakfast was really really poor.

We stayed here for two nights during a 10 day trip to Scotland. The house and the grounds are very pretty, with birds, deer and rabbits for wildlife lovers. However, I was surprised to find litter in and around the pond. We stayed in the Garden Mansion and it was very quiet with large rooms. The furnishings and linens were... More

We stayed four nights in this hotel. Very clean and well kept. The manager was highly spoken of before we even arrived at the establishment. The locals of the area are obviously proud of this hotel. On arrival we were greeted and shown to the room which was very clean and newly painted and well furnished. Room service is 24... More

It's a beautiful building and the room was great but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. You're made to feel like an honoured member of the family. The food was fantastic, the best venison I have ever had. Will definitely be back

We had a lovely stay but a couple of minor gripes. Why oh why do hotels fail to get toast right for breakfast. They use that horrible pappy supermarket bread that comes slced. Why don't they make their own bread and toast that or buy decent bread. The toast is never done enough and by the time it arrives it... More

What a place from the time you see the hotel to the time you leave you are treated like royality probably because royality has stayed.Oh and a recent prime minister twice. Our room was fantastic with 6ft wide bed and a super sized bath with hydro. The food when it was served you did not know whether to take a picture... More

I took my fiancé here for our engagement in Febraury 2012. It had to be perfect and The Culloden House was. We are in our late 20's from the midlands and stayed for two nights. Everything about this hotel is professional. The hotel was quiet during our stay, but that made it all the more intamate. It also meant I... More

The hotel is wonderful - warm and comfortable and full of history. We had dinner the first night, which was exceptionally good. Long leisurely breakfasts with lots of good Scottish produce. And the bar has a great selection of whisky!! Above all, the staff went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming, but were never intrusive. The hotel... More

I had a great weekend stay there, the the building and grounds are spectacular, the rooms original and warm and the restaurant was very good. Murray the deputy Manager has his moments but well worth a visit.
