James and his wife were very hospitable. Rooms were huge. Left the heater on for us so the warmth was greatly welcome. En suite and restroom were large. Five minutes walk from downtown. Ten minutes walk to train station. Happy with everything.

This was a lovely house with every detail perfectly and warmly offered up. Rooms immaculate and spacious ... carpets thick and new (tartans) ... breakfast multi-faceted and fresh .. host and hostess warm and ever-helpful. Nothing could be improved upon. We will choose Abermar again and recommend it far and wide.
I have stayed in some highly questionable B&Bs in Inverness when travelling for work but Abermar will now be my B&B of choice. Spotlessly clean, the warmest welcome I've received in a B&B, lovely touches in the sizeable bedrooms (Fairtrade hot chocolate, real shower gel), free easy-to-access wifi and a tasty grease-free breakfast. And it's just a short stumble to...

Everything was perfect. Rooms were clean. Very quiet area. Breakfast was delicious with large variety of food to choose from. The owners very very helpful in showing us where to go. One of the best bed and breakfasts I stayed in. Mini market just less than 1 minute walk away, if you ever need anything. Wifi available. Free parking. Not...

I stayed at the Abermar a couple of years ago on my solo trip through the UK. I was there for two nights and the owners, James and Allison couldn't be sweeter. As soon as I landed, she helped me plan my day and gave me the a run down of the rules (It is a non-smoking establishment and are...

I am not used to B&B's as I usually stay in corporate hotels. I must say that I will never stay anywhere else. I was greeted warmly and as a Londoner I was astounded at the level of service I received. The little touches are the ones that I most appreciated the most. The gown on the bathroom door; clean...

I am very happy to write this review for the Abermar Guesthouse in Inverness in Scotland. The owners James & Allison could not have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. My room was fabulous, right down to the mug for tea or coffee and the flavoured biscuits. It was spacious, very comfortable, lovely and warm and the ensuite had lots...

Having previously stayed here four years ago I knew this was the only place I need look for my return visit, I was not disappointed, everything was just perfect, better than a hotel, very friendly and homely, with very nice decor, will be back, thanks to James & Allison for a lovely stay.
We stayed at this B&B in last September. It is a very good B&B. They have only three stars of the Scottish Tourist Board but they deserve more! The rooms are spacious and clean, even the single bedrooms are spacious. The breakfast is good, you can choose from several things. You have a good off street parking at the back...

We really enjoyed this B&B. The hosts were great, very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and well supplied. It is 5 min. walk over the river Ness to the main city attractions, easy to get to by car, overall an excellent experience.
