Once more, a pleasant stay with Joan & Javed. What a pity some of the more expensive hotels around can't provide the same service. Good breakfasts freshly cooked, clean & comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. What more can you ask for?

Javed and Joan made our stay at Strathness House pure pleasure. Superbly helpful and friendly, excellent location (very close to town but quiet location on river), very well appointed, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, first rate breakfast, relaxing sitting room. Would have happily stayed for a week.

The place we reserved in Inverness was not good, but we were relieved to get into Strathness House. It was very clean, nicely furnished, conveniently located, great view over the River Ness and the hosts were wonderful! They were so helpful and accommodating. We heartily commend Strathness to others.
