We needed to be near the airport for our flights back home and it is an easy drive from here. We had a lovely comfortable room and a warm welcome. Excellent choice for breakfast and it was delicious. We were later than planned, so it was good to have a local restaurant within walking distance. We would certainly stay here... More

We had a wonderful (if too short) time at Dunhallin House. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our spacious and beautiful room. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Dunhallin House offers a laptop for guest's use which we found very handy to have. They also recommended a good restaurant nearby. Highly recommendable B+B.

We stayed at Dunhallin House whilst cycling our Lands End to John o Groats adventure in September 2012, and received the warmest welcome on our whole trip. Arriving on bikes in the rain, we were promptly shown to the drying room to hang up our soaking clothes, and the garage as we had repairs to make to our bikes. We... More

John and I (not gay, work colleagues) left Leicester in the very early hours of Friday morning to complete several jobs, we finished up in Alness. We knew that we had to get to Inverness that evening to sleep, get watered and fed. I called to see what rooms were available, the phone was answred and was told a twin... More

We had a lovely stay at this fantastic guest house on outskirts of Inverness. Hostess Margaret and husband Sandy certainly go the extra mile to make sure that everything is perfect for your stay. Margaret is so welcoming , it was like a home from home. Entire house was immaculate and room was stunning! The breakfast is also outstanding and... More

Dunhallin House is at least a mile out of the town centre - you would probably need a car if you were staying here, though it would only be a short trip by taxi and there are buses nearby. This is an extremely comfortable place to stay - we had a huge bedroom with a sofa and big flat-screen TV... More

I stayed here 3-4 months ago, the last time I was in Inverness, so was keen to come back and see if it was as good as I remembered. I was not dissapointed. As I said in my previous review, I stay in 3-4 different hotels or guest houses per week, so I condsider myself somewhat of an accomodation connoisseur,... More

An overnight stay with friends, on a rare weekend away. Lovely B&B. Margaret was friendly and welcoming. Nothing was going to be any trouble for her. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to order. Really set us up for the day.

Made a last minute booking after a hospital operation that found me 125 miles from home at 5.30 pm with a rather sore leg. Margaret looked after us so well, a lovely large room with a great TV and an extra single bed which could have been so useful if i had a bad night. Breakfast was great and at... More
