Excellent place to stay. We had a twin room which was very comfortable. Very nice people, excellent breakfast. Exactly what you expect from a good B&B. We chose this place as it is close to the Nairn golf course we played that day. Perfect location, easy to find.

We stayed for 4 days in the self-catering accommodation and it was all that we could wish for. Well equipped and with large rooms, there is plenty of pace in the vast wardrobes for all your stuff and a large bathroom with a great shower. The dining table is a little bit squashed in but it is easy to move... More

This has to be one of the best B&B's that I've stayed in. The owners are exceptional at making you feel at home. My room was big, comfortable and immaculate-just like the rest of the house. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. The Hay Lodge is close to the beach and convenient to town. I look foward to staying there... More

The owners are really nice and the place is beautiful and clean. Breakfast delicious and great location. I went to meet friends that were already there and had no reservation, but that wasn't a problem, they had a twin room available and game a special rate. I really recomend this place.

warmly welcome, excellent breakfast, great Easter surprise for the child, very clean room and bath room, only the mattresses squeaked at night. No doubts, best option in Nairn, 1 min walk to the beach! Marion is always very helpful.

Stayed here recently with family. We were put in the twin room, which for a young couple maybe wasn't the best received decision ever. In saying this, there were three couples on the visit, so someone had to get the "short straw". The room was clean and bare bones with a kettle, complimentary teas and coffee, and a nice view... we found the accomodation to be the highest standard, breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety including continental and full english. The most important feature was we were treated like royalty and nothing was too much trouble, Marion even went out to buy full fat milk for my 1 year old. I have no hesitation in recommending Hay Lodge as... More

Hay Lodge includes an independent cottage for self-caterers. It is absolutely ideal as a base for exploring both the north-east and north-west of Scotland. As we were shown round the cottage by Marion, we were impressed by how clean and new it seemed. There is ample storage and comfortable furniture. Although there is no garden, there is a small dedicated... More

Stayed at the Hay Lodge with my sons who were running in the Inverness 10k. Unfortunately only for one night. Very friendly and helpful and the room was large enough for three adults [ Difficult to find ] Superb choice for breakfast although we didn't do it justice. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone visiting the... More

Spent just one night at the Hay Lodge before the Scotland Coast to Coast race for which it was a perfect location. While many other B&Bs in Nairn were not interested in our one night booking, Marion and Terry went out of their way to accomodate as many racers as possible. Lovely rooms, very clean and a superb breakfast. Would... More
