Staying here was a truly unique experience. The castle itself was gorgeous and I was absolutely floored by the food and service. After the delicious warm bread, starters and main dish, I was completely stuffed, and David (the host/waiter/guide extraordinaire) kindly agreed hold our desert for an hour or so. Excellent local food served by friendly staff, beautiful great hall with spectacular open fireplace, the rooms have been restored to their original layout which is very rare. Warm and friendly atmosphere - perfect to return back to after a day in the harsh Scottish weather. Unique and amazing experience 10/10.
Great medieval castle for those who want to experience something unusual and mysterious. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.
In the evening you can sit by the huge fireplace on comfortable couches sipping a soft drink or a glass of wine with relaxing music as a background.
Stuff is very friendly and the service is great!

We have stayed in many castles but none as magnificent and...
